System​/Desktop Administrator

Reporting into the Senior IT Infrastructure Analyst, the System/Desktop Administrator will provide comprehensive IT administration and infrastructure support across network, server, and desktop environments.

Ensure reliable technology operations by delivering technical support to staff in both local offices and remote locations, maintaining system performance, security, and availability.

• Monitor, troubleshoot, document, and resolve Help Desk support requests in accordance with departmental policies and procedures, maintaining accurate records within the Service Desk ticketing system.
• Manage, monitor, and remediate endpoint and server security threats using Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), Sentinel One, Huntress, Proofpoint, and Cisco Umbrella. Analyze security events and prepare monthly risk assessment and remediation reports.
• Install, configure, update, and maintain desktop, laptop, and mobile endpoint hardware and software, ensuring operating systems, endpoint detection and response (EDR) solutions, and desktop applications remain current and compliant with organizational security standards. Administer and maintain the Mobile Device Management (MDM) platform.
• Create, administer, and maintain Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Multi‑Factor Authentication (MFA) user and group accounts, ensuring appropriate access controls and security policies are enforced.
• Participate in the planning, implementation, and maintenance of Hyper‑V, Windows Server, and enterprise infrastructure upgrades, including hardware replacements, operating system upgrades, system migrations, and configuration changes.
• Assist with enterprise backup, restoration, off‑site data storage, and disaster recovery processes to ensure business continuity and data integrity.
• Support the administration and maintenance of data center infrastructure, as well as Wide Area Network (WAN) and Local Area Network (LAN) connectivity for headquarters and remote branch offices.
• Provide onsite IT infrastructure and end‑user technical support for the sales team during seasonal trade shows and other company‑sponsored events.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum of three (3) years experience in a 50+ User/ Multi‑Server Environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
• Quick learner who adapts to new technologies, systems, and technical processes.
• Effectively manages multiple priorities and workloads in a fast‑paced environment.
• Consistently meets deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality of work.
• Works independently with minimal supervision and collaborates effectively as a member of a team.

The salary on offer for this onsite position will be $60,000- $65,000 per year.
