Freight Forwarder, Ocean Import

DSV -  - Responsibilities:
Review and process shipment transactions for one or more major accounts, providing proactive customer service;
Establish profiles and procedures representing import/export processes;
Process high-volume and/or complex import/export transactions including booking, billing, classifications, and data entry;
Check shipments against warehouse records and prepare Bills of Lading;
Ensure hazardous materials shipments comply with applicable regulations;
Create quotations and select transportation options to set freight margins;
Monitor regulatory compliance and communicate changes to clients and coworkers;
Identify transactions requiring special handling and implement process improvements
