The Aircraft on Ground (AOG) Specialist will ensure the accurate and timely processing of all Aircraft on Ground (AOG) shipments globally, maintain a maximum level of customer excellence through efficient timely execution of daily operations, and precise data integrity. Responsibility to ensure all applicable laws and regulations, as well as with all procedures and policies of the company are followed.

• Maintain a well-organized desk and understanding of expectations in order to effectively prioritize the workload while coordinating with internal and external teammates.
• Ensure all activities are completed within the guideline set forth in the Operational Process Standards and AITs' Policies.
• Monitor the effectiveness of their execution with KPI's, operational process assessments, and work flow monitors.
• Manage Cargo Wise work flows, daily tracker spreadsheet, and overall data integrity on a consistent basis to ensure the highest level of execution.
• Accurate and timely finances are to be maintained at all times.
• Partnering with the Accounting team to meet expectations.
• Agent will be intimately involved in the understanding of AITs' finances;
  Accounts Receivable, Account Payable, cost allocation, revenue recognition, etc.
• Develop and maintain customer profiles in a manner that creates efficient and accurate dissemination of customer expectations to any party with a need to know.
• Proactively keep their customer informed of the current status and activities associated to the business.
• Prioritize obtaining job related certifications incorporated in future development plans.
• Assist in mentoring/developing peers and seek out guidance from others within the organization for the benefit of both parties.
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with AITs' service providers and customers.
• Participate in creation of process improvements that can benefit owning process and team member's process.
• Participate in weekly and monthly team meetings, let your voice be heard!.
• Route freight with commercial airline providers, heavy cargo providers, with the possibility of hand carry and charters.
• Route, track and investigate shipping problems.
• Assist in preparing quotes over the phone and via email.
• Communicate freight status to customers.
• Verify and update shipment information.
• Other duties and responsibilities will be assigned as business demands deem necessary.

• High School Degree or equivalent
• Minimum one year of customer service experience
• 1-3 years' experience in air freight industry preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
• Cargowise experience a plus!
• Strong understanding of International Air freight a plus!
• Problem solving abilities
• Excellent communication skills verbally and written to
• White Glove customer service to all customers both internally and externally
• Team player-strong sense of trust and cooperation amongst teammates
• High attention to detail and organization skill
