Overview

The Senior Manager, Global Operations Deployment is responsible for managing the execution of operational system deployments, process implementations, and branch integrations across the organization. The role supports the rollout of core platforms, including Transportation Management Systems (TMS), Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and other business-critical applications, while helping ensure operational readiness for organic growth and M&A-driven expansion. Working under the direction of Global Operations leadership, this position coordinates cross‑functional deployment activities, translates business requirements into implementation plans, and supports adoption through go‑live, hyper care, stabilization, and transition to steady‑state ownership.

The role also leads and develops a small deployment team supporting forwarding operations.

Responsibilities
  • Deployment Planning, Coordination & Execution:

    * Manage the planning, coordination, and execution of operational deployments, including TMS, WMS, other business-critical applications, and equipment.

    * Execute deployment plans in alignment with priorities established by Global Operations leadership.

    * Maintain deployment frameworks, project plans, templates, timelines, issue logs, and resource plans.
  • Branch Launches & M&A Integrations:

    * Coordinate branch launch support for new locations and acquired businesses, including M&A integration activities.

    * Support operational readiness for organic growth and M&A-driven expansion.
  • Operational Readiness & Go-Live Management:

    * Coordinate operational readiness assessments to confirm locations are prepared for go-live across systems, processes, staffing, training, compliance, and equipment.

    * Validate that SOPs, process documentation, training materials, and local operating requirements are available before deployment.
  • Hyper Care, Stabilization & Issue Resolution:

    * Develop and execute hyper care support plans, escalation paths, and issue-resolution tracking for system implementations and branch launches.

    * Support adoption through go-live, hyper care, stabilization, and transition to steady-state ownership.
  • Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement:

    * Monitor deployment KPIs established by Global Operations, including schedule adherence, readiness completion, user adoption, issue resolution, and stabilization performance.

    * Analyze deployment results and recommend improvements to methods, templates, controls, and governance.
  • Leadership, Reporting & Stakeholder Management:

    * Prepare deployment status reports for Operations leadership, including progress, risks, decisions, and required support.

    * Coordinate cross‑functional deployment activities, translate business requirements into implementation plans, and lead and develop a small deployment team supporting forwarding operations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education

* Bachelor's Degree in business administration, operations management, logistics management or similar (required)

* Master's Degree (preferred)

Experience

* 8+ years in global operations, deployment management, system implementations, supply chain operations (required)

* 10+ years (preferred)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

* Wise Tech Cargo Wise

* Microsoft Office

* Strong understanding of global operations

* Strong communication and influencing skills across all organizational levels

* Strong knowledge of operational governance

Licenses and Certifications

* Portfolio Management Professional (PMP) - ()
