Operational Key Account Manager

• Act as primary contact for key accounts
• Build relationships throughout customers’ organizations
• Maintain and grow share of wallet across DSV’s network and divisions
• Ensure current rates are communicated and submitted for auto-rating
• Provide market insights
• Create, maintain, and update SOPs
• Lead client onboarding and implementation
• Oversee daily operational activities and identify risks, pain points, and service gaps
• Coordinate collaboration among internal stakeholders
• Respond to spot quote requests and identify upselling opportunities
• Ensure data quality KPIs, timeliness, and billing days are met
• Achieve and maintain an acceptable AR rating
• Monitor and act on customer and DSV performance against volumes and SLA KPIs
• Meet client reporting requirements
• Conduct client business reviews and follow up on action items
• Support contract and rate negotiations
• Identify opportunities and structure deal teams
• Develop account plans addressing satisfaction, threats, and development opportunities
• Create and deploy bespoke logistics solutions
• Assess EDI and other technology solutions supporting eBooking
• Analyze volumes and workflows to optimize productivity and uncover cost savings
• Manage rate optimization and yield management
• Travel as necessary

• Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in key account management in the transportation and logistics industry
• Experience with supply chain management, transportation, warehousing, and distribution
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Knowledge of transportation and logistics industry trends and best practices
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Experience with transportation management systems (TMS) and customer relationship management (CRM) software is preferred
• Advanced degree, international logistics and customs regulations, and sales/business development experience are preferred
