SUMMARY

Put together large and small component parts or adhere display units, signage, and fixtures to completion by following specified instructions per project.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

The hours for this position are Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm. This position will require the employee to work overtime as needed. Overtime is scheduled based upon individual job responsibilities and the needs of the department and business.

  • Follow technical instructions, interpret engineering blueprints to assemble display units, fixtures, signages
  • Identifying damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies
  • Position parts and subassemblies to achieve productive and efficient assembly process
  • Verify specifications by measuring completed component
  • Use hand tools such as hand drills or machines to adhere or assemble components
  • Maintain the tools used to create and assemble products
  • Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance
  • Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs
  • Comply with company policies and legal guidelines
  • Help maintain a safe, clean, and orderly environment of the facilities
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
  • Mechanical and technical skills with assembling parts
  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs or more repetitively
  • Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment such as handheld power drills, screwdrivers, and hardware
  • POP assembly experience preferred
  • Excellent physical condition and coordination
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination.
  • Proficiency in operating technical machinery and hand tools
  • Mathematical aptitude.
  • Good organizational skills.
WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work environment for this position is a warehouse and manufacturing environment.

Pay/Compensation: $16.00/hr
