This role exists due to continued growth, new programs, and increased demand for large, complex CNC‑machined components.
At Tech-Max Machine
, CNC Machinists play a critical role in producing precision parts for aerospace, industrial, and custom applications. This is not repetitive button‑pushing — this role requires strong setup, machining knowledge, and pride in craftsmanship.
In this role, you will:
- Set up and operate CNC Mills and CNC Lathes
- Load, edit, and verify CNC programs
- Select tooling, set offsets, and verify setups
- Machine large, complex components to print
- Perform in-process and final inspections
- Interpret blueprints and GD&T
- Safely operate lifting and material‑handling equipment
- Perform basic machine maintenance and housekeeping
This role is hands‑on, technical, and well‑suited for experienced machinists who enjoy challenging work.

- Blueprint & GD&T‑based inspection
Required
- 5+ years of CNC machining experience (mills and/or lathes)
- Strong experience with Mazak and/or FANUC controls
- Proven ability to read blueprints and GD&T
- Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to quality, safety, and detail
Preferred (Not Required)
- Experience with 5‑Axis machining or VTLs
- Exposure to AS9100 or ISO 9000 environments
- Background machining large or complex parts
- Aluminum
- Stainless Steel
- Carbon & alloy steels
- Large fabricated or machined components
