Job Title: Material Handler II

Location: Itasca, IL 60143

Duration: 5 Months

Shift: 7:00 AM 3:30 PM

Requirement: Must be local to Itasca, IL .

The Material Handler II is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring materials are delivered to the appropriate areas in a timely manner. This role supports manufacturing and assembly operations while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

• Perform material movements both physically and within inventory systems.
• Generate and process work orders using ERP systems.
• Complete work order receipts accurately in the ERP system.
• Perform cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Support product flow through manufacturing and assembly operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet production goals.
• Handle chemicals safely when required (training provided).
• Work overtime as needed to support business requirements.
• Support Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and other company initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with FDA regulations, company policies, and operating procedures.
• Maintain positive communication with employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Ability to perform occasional strenuous physical labor.
• Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy.
• Experience in warehouse, material handling, manufacturing, or logistics environments preferred.
• Basic computer skills; ERP/SAP experience is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Forklift experience is preferred (training provided).
