Motorized Material Handler

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Forklift Operator to join their team. As a Sit Down Forklift Operator, you will be part of the Logistics Department supporting the shipping and receiving operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong safety awareness, attention to detail, and teamwork skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

** Pay Range: $22.11/hour*
* ** Shift: 8:30am-5:30pm, must be available to work OT*
* ** What's the Job?*
* + Comply with established safety practices, policies, and procedures including PPE, ZES, PIT/PED safety protocols

+ Read factory work orders and shipping/receiving documents to understand customer requirements and processing information

+ Monitor conveyor lines, remove units, and load them into trailers or storage areas

+ Check load tags and unit counts for accuracy

+ Inspect finished units during loading to ensure they are damage-free and straps are intact

** What's Needed?*
* + Proven success in safety, attendance, and quality of work

+ Certified ability to safely operate a forklift truck

+ Ability to accurately use and read measuring devices

+ Knowledge of general computer operation

+ Ability to learn, follow instructions, ask questions, and work effectively as part of a team
