Motorized Material Handler

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Forklift Operator to join their team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be part of the Logistics Department supporting warehouse and shipping operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong safety awareness, attention to detail, and teamwork skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Forklift Operator

Location: Itasca, IL

Pay Range: $22.11/hour

Shift: 1st shift

What's the Job?

• Comply with established safety practices, policies, and procedures, including PPE, ZES, PIT/PED safety protocols
• Read factory work orders and shipping/receiving documents to understand customer requirements and processing information
• Monitor conveyor lines, remove units, and load units into trailers or storage areas
• Check load tags and unit counts to ensure accuracy
• Inspect finished units during loading to prevent damage and verify strap integrity

What's Needed?

• Proven success in safety, attendance, and quality of work
• Certified ability to safely operate a forklift truck
• Accurate use and reading of measuring devices
• Basic knowledge of computer operations
• Ability to learn, follow instructions, ask questions, and work effectively as part of a team
