An instrument repair cleaner's job is to detail and clean rental instruments and prepare them to return to stock in a timely and proficient manner.
Essential Functions (not all-inclusive):- Detail and clean instruments in a timely manner based on production standards
- Report quality control rejects
- Perform general warehouse and distribution tasks
- Other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Apprenticeship or a diploma for an accredited repair school is required.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend English.
- Entry level; zero years of relevant work experience required.
- Novice proficiency with mechanical tools used for instrument cleaning and repair.
- Novice proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Good mechanical aptitude
- Ability to operate in a professional manner under changing conditions and demands
- Detail oriented
- Ability to learn how to use standard repair shop tooling and equipment
