This is a 2nd shift position. Core shift is Mon-Fri 2:30 PM-10:00 PM with OT and Saturdays as needed. The ability to lift 50 lbs is required. Position requires the ability to work overtime. As a result, it may require working varying start times, end times, and weekends dependent on business needs.
Employee is responsible for handling materials, candy, and producing product. They must set up, change-over, and run lines and/or assist packaging employees. They are responsible for sanitation, quality, productivity, and safety in their area.
Ways you will make a difference- Adheres to all Good Manufacturing Policies (GMPs)
- Assists anytime the line is in a scrap mode
- Assists in other facets of production as needed
- Work at different work stations as production needs require
- Conducts assigned work in a safe manner and adheres to safety methods
- Responsible for packaging of all finished goods
- Responsible for verifying and executing pallet patterns where applicable
- The position requires overtime, mandated, and/or voluntary to be able to meet peak demand, cover for absences or handle urgent projects.
- While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, and the noise level in the environment is loud
- Manufacturing experience is preferred
- Food manufacturing experience is a plus
- The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is required to occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.
The employee is required to lift up to 50 pounds with no assistance.
Ability to work with minimal supervision, and keep up with the line speeds in a fast paced environment
- Ability to read and write English
- High school Diploma or GED
- Ensures compliance with SQF, and other relevant standards
- Adheres to all company policies and procedures
- Dependable and flexible when work is required in other facets of production
- Promotes teamwork, possesses a good attitude, and exhibits flexibility and willingness to perform tasks as needed
- Ability to work scheduled shift and overtime as needed

Compensation$22.50 per hour plus a $0.39 per hour shift differential
