General Labor-3rd Shift

Work Location:

Itasca Position requires the ability to work overtime. As a result, it may require working varying start times, end times, and weekends dependent on business needs. This is a 3rd Shift position, 10:30pm-6:30am. Employee is responsible for handling materials, candy, and producing product. They must set up, change-over, and run lines and/or assist packaging employees. They are responsible for sanitation, quality, productivity, and safety in their area.

Ways you will make a difference:

• Adheres to all Good Manufacturing Policies (GMPs)
• Assists anytime the line is in a scrap mode
• Assists in other facets of production as needed
• Work at different work stations as production needs require
• Conducts assigned work in a safe manner and adheres to safety methods
• Responsible for finished goods
• Responsible for verifying and executing pallet patterns where applicable

Skills that will make you successful:

• While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, and the noise level in the environment is loud
• Manufacturing experience is preferred
• Food manufacturing experience is a plus
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, and keep up with the line speeds in a fast paced environment
• Ability to read and write English
• High school Diploma or GED
• Ensures compliance with SQF, and other relevant standards
• Adheres to all company policies and procedures
• Dependable and flexible when work is required in other facets of production
• Promotes teamwork, possesses a good attitude, and exhibits flexibility and willingness to perform tasks as needed
• Ability to work scheduled shift and overtime as needed
