POSITION SUMMARYThe Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing and executing innovative, data-driven marketing campaigns that elevate our brand, drive customer engagement, and promote sales across our grocery retail footprint. As an exempt-level position, the role requires independent decision-making, creative strategy, and cross-functional leadership to ensure campaigns deliver measurable impact across channels.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThe essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Manage day-to-day operations across all social media channels, community engagement, and the strategic scheduling of posts to ensure a consistent brand voice.
- Monitor digital trends and social conversations to source and curate shareable content that aligns with brand values, focuses on business goals, and resonates with the target demographic.
- Design and launch integrated marketing campaigns (digital, in-store, email, print, social) to support seasonal promotions, product launches, loyalty programs, and brand initiatives.
- Collaborate with merchandising, creative, and operations teams to align messaging and visual assets with business goals.
- Develop campaign strategy based on customer insights, market trends, and competitive intelligence.
- Monitor and optimize campaign performance metrics, including CTRs, ROI, and customer acquisition/retention.
- Manage agency relationships and oversee the production of media assets and collateral.
- Create post-campaign reports with actionable insights and recommendations for future initiatives.
- Support brand consistency across all customer touchpoints and ensure adherence to compliance guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
- 4+ years of marketing experience, with a strong background in campaign strategy and execution.
- Experience working within retail, grocery, or FMCG sectors highly preferred.
- Proficiency with marketing analytics, CRM platforms, and creative tools (e.g., Hub Spot, Salesforce, Google Analytics, Adobe Creative Suite).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively.
- Highly organized and capable of managing multiple deadlines and priorities.
- Knowledge of shopper marketing or omnichannel retail strategy.
- Experience supporting loyalty, mobile app, or customer engagement campaigns.
- Familiarity with regional consumer demographics and cultural nuances.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish, a plus.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, and use the hands to handle objects, tools, or controls.
- Successful performance requires vision abilities that include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
- The work environment is typical of an office.
- Ability to drive and flexible to travel to all company locations if required.
