Quality Technician

Our client, Maker's Pride, is seeking a Quality Technician to join their team. As a Quality Technician, you will be part of the Quality Assurance team supporting the Supervisor and Quality Manager. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, good verbal and written communication skills, and work well within a team environment, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location:

Itasca, IL

Pay Range: $21.90 per hour Shift; 1st shift - Mon-Fri 6am-2:30pm

What's the Job?

• Perform quality checks on production lines; will frequent 3 lines at a time
• Complete paperwork in a timely manner each day
• Perform tasks to maintain 5-S and keep work areas clean
• Label, store and organize samples and product retentions
• Assist in test runs, new product trials, audits and inspections as required

What's Needed?

• HSD or GED required
• 3 months experience working as a Quality Assurance Technician (minimum) 1 year exp preferred!
• Must understand how different machinery operates as it relates to the quality of the product
• Must be able to perform simple mathematic calculation, including work with fractions, ratios and percentages
• Experience with MS Office Suite is needed
• Good verbal and written communication skills. Able to speak, write and comprehend Spanish is a plus!
