Quality Technician
Location:
Itasca, IL
Shift: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Overtime Available
Are you someone who enjoys working with precision, inspecting machined parts, and making sure quality standards are met? We are seeking a hands-on Quality Technician to join a growing manufacturing team in Itasca!
This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in a machine shop or manufacturing environment who is comfortable inspecting machined parts and using precision measuring tools.
What You'll Do
- Inspect machined parts to ensure they meet specifications and quality requirements.
- Use precision measuring tools including calipers, tape measures, and micrometers.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings.
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections of parts.
- Verify measurements and identify parts that do not meet specifications.
- Communicate quality concerns and discrepancies to the appropriate team members.
- Maintain accurate inspection and quality documentation.
- Work closely with production and manufacturing teams to support quality standards.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Quality Technician, Quality Inspector, Machinist, or similar manufacturing role.
- Experience inspecting machined or fabricated parts preferred.
- Ability to accurately use calipers, tape measures, and micrometers.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify quality issues.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing or machine shop environment.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating with production and quality teams.
