Precision Freight is looking for a motivated, results-driven Logistics Sales Representative to develop new shipper relationships, grow existing accounts, and help customers move freight with confidence. As a Logistics Sales Representative at Precision Freight, you’ll drive revenue through new customer acquisition and account growth. You’ll prospect shippers, qualify opportunities, quote freight, close business, and work closely with our carrier and operations teams to deliver reliable transportation solutions.
What You’ll Do- Generate new business through outbound calls, emails, referrals, networking, and in-person meetings.
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of prospective shippers.
- Develop relationships with customers across manufacturing, distribution, retail, construction, and other industries.
- Identify customer freight needs and match them with the right transportation solutions.
- Quote truckload, flatbed, expedited, and specialized freight opportunities.
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing to account growth.
- Collaborate with carrier sales and operations teams to ensure strong service execution.
- Track sales activity, pipeline, customer notes, and follow-ups in the CRM.
- Achieve and exceed monthly sales goals for new business, revenue, and margin growth.
- 1+ years of experience in freight brokerage, logistics sales, business development, or account management.
- Strong hunter mindset with the ability to prospect, follow up, and close.
- Ability to build relationships with shippers and understand their freight needs.
- Confidence making outbound calls and leading customer conversations.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated, competitive, and goal-oriented.
- Ability to manage a sales pipeline and prioritize daily activity.
- Experience with CRM systems, TMS platforms, or freight quoting tools is a plus.
- Brokerage experience is preferred, but we will train the right sales-driven candidate.
- Strong operations support so you have help covering customer freight.
- Tools, leads, CRM, and technology to support your sales process.
