We are currently seeking a dynamic and driven Senior Account Executive to join our growing team in Itasca, IL. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with customers in your territory, analyzing marketing strategies, and reporting on key findings to drive sales growth.
Responsibilities- Increase market share by conducting market research, identifying new product needs, analyzing current marketing and sales programs, and adjusting strategies as needed
- Develop and maintain long-lasting relationships with new and existing customers in the assigned midwestern territory by traveling to customers to explore specific needs and anticipate new opportunities
- Identify opportunities for growth and work with customers to develop customized solutions to fit their unique needs
- Prepare sales reports that recap customer visits and promotional activity and report on business opportunities, results, trends, and potential recommendations
- Attend industry trade shows and other events
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and timely delivery of products and services
- Conduct external market research to stay informed about industry trends and competition
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field
- Minimum of 2-3 years of product-based outside sales experience
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory (Midwest)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software
