Inside Sales Representative - Itasca, IL

Job Overview

Labcorp is a global leader in laboratory services seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join our team in Itasca, IL. The role focuses on selling laboratory testing services to professionals across multiple medical fields and building relationships with current and potential clients.

• Develop and execute an annual business plan with quarterly updates.
• Build a sales pipeline to achieve ongoing revenue goals and a 90‑day quota.
• Accurately forecast and maintain a sales funnel of new opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with team members to retain and grow the current book of business.
• Effectively communicate value propositions to targeted customers and prospects.
• Contribute actively to new business opportunities with LCA counterparts.
• Update all relevant customer account information in Salesforce CRM.
• Provide ongoing support, education on focus products, and market updates for the current customer base.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Associate's degree.
• Two or more years of sales, customer service, or account management experience.
• At least one year of Salesforce experience.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Ability to collaborate with sales and operations teams to grow business.
• Strong consultative selling and closing skills.
• Ability to understand scientific literature and use clinical data as a selling factor.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong time‑management and organizational skills.

Hybrid – 2 days remote (Monday/Friday) and 3 days in‑office (Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday). Pay range: $28.00–$30.00 per hour plus commission. Eligible for variable compensation, including bonus and commissions based on performance metrics.
