Freight Brokerage Sales Manager

Precision Freight is seeking an experienced Freight Brokerage Sales Manager to lead and develop our Account Executives and Business Development Representatives while continuing to personally drive new shipper acquisition.

This is a hands‑on, player‑coach role. You will set expectations, coach the sales team, review pipelines, help close opportunities, hold salespeople accountable for activity, revenue and gross margin, and maintain your own active sales pipeline.

• Manage, coach and develop Account Executives and Business Development Representatives.
• Set clear expectations for prospecting activity, pipeline development, revenue and gross margin.
• Conduct regular one‑on‑ones, pipeline reviews, call coaching and deal strategy sessions.
• Personally prospect, develop and close new shipper accounts while maintaining an active sales pipeline.
• Build a structured, accountable sales process and partner with Operations and Carrier Sales to support customer growth.

• 5+ years of freight brokerage or logistics sales experience.
• 2+ years of experience managing, coaching or developing sales professionals.
• Proven ability to prospect, develop and close new shipper business.
• Strong understanding of freight brokerage sales, pricing, negotiation and gross margin.
• Experience managing CRM activity, sales pipelines, performance metrics and forecasting.
• Strong leadership, communication, coaching and accountability skills.
• Willingness to operate as a player‑coach, leading the team while continuing to sell personally.

Compensation:
Base salary plus commission and performance bonuses.
