Japanese Bilingual Sales Representative
SummaryA leading Japanese trading company is seeking a Japanese-English bilingual Sales Representative to join its U.S. subsidiary. This position focuses on supporting and expanding business across a wide range of industrial sectors. The ideal candidate will have sales or purchasing experience in industrial products or related sectors. Strong interpersonal skills, a deep understanding of supply chains, and fluency in Japanese are required.
EssentialDuties
- Manage and expand business relationships with existing clients across various industrial sectors.
- Propose and support specification-in of products and materials.
- Serve as a liaison between Japanese suppliers and North American clients, ensuring smooth communication and operations.
- Coordinate with internal logistics and operations teams for delivery scheduling and inventory control.
- Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new business opportunities.
- Support pricing strategies, contract negotiations, and overall account management.
- Work cross-functionally with global teams, including counterparts in Japan and Asia.
- Attend in-person meetings and business trips across the U.S. and Mexico as needed.
Full-time, Exempt
Monday to Friday, 9:00 am ~ 5:30 pm
Hybrid work possible based on performance and business needs

Salary/Benefit$50,000–$70,000 per year (commensurate with experience)

Qualifications- Sales or purchasing experience within B2B, trading, or general industrial sectors
- Trading company experience is a plus
- Knowledge of supply chain flows and account management
- Business-level fluency in both Japanese and English (Japanese required)
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Excellent communication, coordination, and relationship-building skills
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed
