DescriptionWe are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Technician to join our Irrigation Department. This role will report directly to the Operations Manager - Irrigation, contributing to our high standards in safety, service delivery and operational efficiency. The Technician will be responsible for performing irrigation system startups, maintenance, repairs and winterizations at commercial client sites.

QualificationsEssential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead the startup, maintenance and shutdown of irrigation systems across commercial properties
- Foster a safety-first environment and comply with company safety protocols and industry standards
- Monitor system performance and adjust controller settings based on site-specific conditions
- Respond to service calls and irrigation emergencies during the landscape season
- Accurately identify and diagnose irrigation system issues including detecting problems with heads, nozzles, controllers, valves, wiring, pressure and water flow / coverage
Develop Your Skills
- Participate in training programs to stay up-to-date on new irrigation technologies and best practices
- Collaborate with fellow technicians and leadership to share knowledge and improve operational procedures
Requirements – What’s Needed To Succeed
- Strong knowledge of commercial irrigation systems, components, and best practices
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair various irrigation system issues
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality service delivery
- Reliable, in-person attendance and availability for on-call service as needed
- Ability to perform a variety of physical activities including bending, stooping, climbing and working in tight spaces indoors and outdoors in all temperatures and weather conditions
- Must possess a valid state-issued driver’s license and pass a background and driving record check
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual (English / Spanish) communication skills
- Hourly pay ranging from $25 - $30 per hour (depending on experience level)
