Job Overview
Albertsons Companies is seeking a professional to lead, innovate, and contribute in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Transfer into the local union as required.
- Work overtime on weekends, holidays, and after hours (after 3:30 PM CST) when on call.
- Use hand and power tools to build assigned projects securely.
- Fit and install doors, door frames, door hardware, and interior and exterior trim with necessary power tools and materials.
- Construct various tasks from scratch such as lock‑up boxes.
- Perform administrative tasks: order materials, write purchase orders, create expense receipts, and enter data for work reports via the iPhone app.
- Maintain a neat, clean, and safe work area and drop location for material ordering.
- Conduct daily checks on all materials that were on order.
- Manage communications for completed service calls in a timely manner as required.
- Perform all duties in a timely, efficient, and professional manner.
- High‑school diploma or equivalent; graduation from a building‑related vocational or technical program is preferred.
- Minimum of three years recent experience performing maintenance work in building‑related trades.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to perform duties with a high degree of accuracy and care to avoid structural breakdowns.
- Readiness to respond to direct and radio requests promptly.
- Maintenance of a proper neat uniform appearance.
- Computer literacy.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Valid boiler license if required by state law.
- Ability to read and comprehend manuals, prints, and work orders.
- Knowledge of tools and equipment maintenance.
- General record‑keeping skills.
- Customer‑service orientation and sensitivity to diverse needs of coworkers, employees, and other persons contacted in daily work.
- Ability to work independently.
