The Admissions & Scholarship team at the Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management is dedicated to attracting, selecting, and matriculating a highly talented and diverse MBA student population. Reporting to the Director of Admissions Operations, the Admissions Officer plays a key role in supporting the admissions process for Johnson's residential MBA programs through applicant evaluation, candidate interviews, and recommendations to the Admissions Committee.
This position also serves as a primary point of contact for prospective students, providing personalized guidance from inquiry through application submission while promoting a thorough understanding of Johnson's programs, admissions requirements, career resources, and student experience. In addition to supporting recruitment and admissions activities, the Admissions Officer coordinates interview logistics, contributes to admissions events and campus visits, and partners with colleagues across the school to deliver an exceptional candidate experience.
This is a full-time, three-year term position with the possibility of renewal based on funding, performance, and business needs. Key Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate MBA applications, assessing academic achievement, professional experience, leadership potential, and other admissions criteria.
- Conduct applicant interviews and provide recommendations to the Admissions Committee to support admissions decisions.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for prospective students, providing personalized guidance throughout the admissions process.
- Engage with prospective students through phone, email, virtual office hours, and admissions events to support recruitment and application conversion.
- Coordinate admissions and enrollment processes, including applicant tracking, interview scheduling, and onboarding activities for admitted students.
