Special Education Teacher

Desired Experience &

Qualifications:

• Valid New York State Special Education Certification (Required)
• Previous experience working in inclusive classroom environments

• Enthusiasm for teaching elementary students with diverse needs

Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction to students in an inclusive, elementary setting
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to design and implement effective IEPs
• Foster a positive and adaptive learning atmosphere for all students
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed
• Engage in regular communication with parents, team members, and school personnel
