CNPH 10100 Intro to Film Aesthetics and Analysis – Professor Tom Bohn
The TA will be responsible for downloading a prescribed list of film clips provided by the professor and screen them in discussion, ensuring the class is engaged in appropriate analysis and discussion.

CNPH 11100 Cinema Production 1 (Sections 01-06) – Professors Daïchi Saïto, Mireille Heidbreder, Alaric Rocha, & Ryan Somelofske
TAs will support faculty and students in production-based courses by assisting with equipment management, hands-on exercises, editing sessions, critiques, and other experiential learning activities. The TA serves as both a technical and academic resource for students, helping reinforce course concepts, facilitate project work, and promote the proper use of equipment and departmental resources.

CNPH 22400 Cinema Production 2 (Sections 01-05) – Professors Bradley Rappa, Stephen St. Francis Decky, & Ryan Somelofske
Teaching Assistants support students by demonstrating equipment and production techniques, sharing practical filmmaking knowledge, and providing constructive feedback throughout the creative process. They assist with equipment transport, maintenance, setup, and return, support in-class demonstrations and productions, develop supervised instructional materials, and offer peer-to-peer guidance in collaboration with the instructor.

The TA will pick-up and return equipment to PPECS, be an extra set of hands during in class demonstrations and our multiple in class shoots, provide feedback and criticism during critique screenings, and provide peer to peer support during the complex process of film production.

The TA is responsible for handling equipment checkout and return; assisting students during exercises and workshops; prepping exercise materials; assisting students for presentations; contributing to critiques; collecting and organizing project files, etc.
