• Position: Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) / Travel Nurse
• Location: Ithaca, NY 14850 — Finger Lakes region; on-site
• Employment Type: Travel contract (travel nursing job)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (02/09/2026 – 05/11/2026)
• Unit: Labor & Delivery (Perinatal, OB nurse)
• Shift: Night shift – 3x12 (three 12-hour shifts per week)
• Average Hours Per Week: 36 hours
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2360 - $2480

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license and eligibility to work in New York
• Labor & Delivery RN experience (perinatal nursing)
• Experience floating to Postpartum / Mother-Baby unit required
• Recent Epic EMR experience required (electronic health record documentation)
• Reliable availability for night shifts on a travel nursing assignment
• Preferred: BLS; NRP or other relevant certifications are a plus

• Provide direct patient care in Labor & Delivery, ensuring safety and comfort for mothers and newborns as a skilled L&D RN
• Monitor maternal and neonatal status, recognize changes, and communicate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Float to Postpartum (Mother/Baby) unit and deliver competent postpartum and newborn care when required
• Document all patient care accurately and timely in Epic EMR to support continuity of care
• Collaborate with OB/GYNs, midwives, pediatric providers, and support staff to optimize patient outcomes
• Educate and support patients and families throughout labor, delivery, and early postpartum care

• Gain valuable travel nursing experience in Labor & Delivery and perinatal care
• Work in a collaborative, fast-paced L&D unit with opportunities to expand OB and postpartum skills
• Experience life in the Finger Lakes — hiking, waterfalls, local cuisine, and arts between shifts
