Job Opportunity Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified professional for a position in Diagnostic Imaging. The candidate must possess ARRT credentials and a valid New York State (NYS) license, along with the enhanced NYS license for injection. The successful applicant will be responsible for completing essential steps involved in patient imaging examinations while adhering to safety protocols and maintaining high standards of care.

• Document patient history accurately and efficiently.
• Gather and input technical information related to imaging procedures.
• Handle contrast information and perform IV injections in accordance with state regulations.
• Ensure all scanning paperwork is properly packed and entered into the system.
• Adhere to all MRI safety policies to ensure the safety of both staff and patients.
• Follow established patient identification protocols, including labeling syringes with date, time, contrast information, and initials.
• Comply with all policies and procedures regarding the use of ISTAT as applicable to the worksite.
• Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of MR department procedures and protocols.
• Set acquisition factors to achieve optimal image quality and evaluate images for quality assurance.
• Accurately follow physician’s instructions during imaging procedures.

• Valid ARRT credentials in Diagnostic Imaging.
• Current New York State license.
• Enhanced NYS license for injection.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols meticulously.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
