Job Summary:
Nursing home/home draw lab assistant performs phlebotomy, alliquoting, registration, use of the centrifuge and scheduling of home draws.

Physical Demands:
May require light lifting (up to 10 pounds) and carrying supplies. Repetitive use of hands (e.g. computer keyboard usage), sitting, walking, or standing for long periods of time is often necessary.
Education/Experience High school diploma or equivalent is required and vocational phlebotomy (or related) course/program OR 2 years of phlebotomy experience
Additional Qualifications:
Must possess a current, valid NYS Driver's license. Must have reliable means of transportation to and from work. Good written and oral communication skills preferred. Require ability to prioritize work, manage and adjust changes in work volumes. Problem solving ability and attention to detail is preferred.
