Occupational Therapist – Outpatient – Full Time – Days FLEX
Join a dynamic team as an Occupational Therapist specializing in outpatient therapy services. As a valuable member of the healthcare team, you will assess and address the holistic needs of patients, providing personalized therapy plans to enhance their quality of life. This role includes collaborating with other professionals, educating students, and staying updated on industry research.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive evaluations to develop tailored therapy plans focusing on improving daily living skills and functionality.
- Create and implement therapy programs to aid in rehabilitation, adaptation, and motor skill enhancement.
- Document patient progress and modify therapy plans as needed for optimal recovery.
- Collaborate with healthcare colleagues to ensure integrated care and positive patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families on strategies for independence and improved quality of life.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Education:
Completion of an accredited occupational therapy Bachelors program. - Licensure:
Valid NY State occupational therapy licensure. - Previous occupational therapy experience is a bonus.
Location and Travel Requirements:
- Requires physical abilities such as keyboard use, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
- Location:
Ithaca, New York 14850. Occasional travel to nearby clinic locations may be necessary. - Schedule:
Full-Time Days FLEX, 40 hours per week within clinic operating hours. - Travel:
Minimal local travel may be required.
Pay Range Disclosure:
- Salary Range: $70,720 to $81,120 annually. Benefits include tuition scholarships, health plan, retirement contribution, PTO, and more.
