Cornell Health’s Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) offers confidential counseling services, designed to help students with mental health concerns that may impact their quality of life and ability to learn. Our providers include psychologists, social workers, and mental health counselors from diverse cultural and clinical backgrounds.

The Assistant Director of Counseling & Psychological Services - Clinical & Outreach Services provides organizational leadership in university mental health initiatives in collaboration with the Director and other members of the CAPS leadership team. Specifically, this position oversees the Community Liaison services, including Let’s Talk, as well as other outreach programs and group services. This position may also oversee some of the generalist counselors within CAPS as needed.
The Assistant Director guides the vision for ongoing staff development, supervises a team of Counselor Therapist staff, and provides direct clinical services in a limited capacity.

Ability to lead, define, and assess the scope of clinical services that support the mission and vision of CAPS, Cornell Health, Student and Campus Life, and Cornell University.
