Direct patient care, including toileting, ambulating, repositioning, monitoring and recording intake and output, recording weight and vital signs, and reporting changes to the nurse;
Reinforcing patient education (e.g., incentive spirometer) and fall prevention;
Maintaining a clean and organized bedside area to ensure a safe workspace;
Intentionally rounding on each patient every hour;
Complete mandatory orientation training prior to starting on unit
