Licensed Practical Nurse
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides support to the clinical staff by preparing the patient for the appointment, assisting during the procedure or examination if required, and cleaning exam rooms. In addition, they perform a variety of nursing functions, including: instructing patients on how to collect specimens, performing ECG, Spirometry, nebulizer treatments, wound care, administering immunizations, performing eye exams or hearing tests, administering medications in both oral and injectable form, and insertion of IV's.
The LPN provides patients with instructions upon discharge on the use of any medical equipment and/or medications per clinician orders, and functions as a patient advocate.

This position begins at $27.79.
Required Qualifications:
- Current New York State LPN license.
- Experience working with an electronic health record management system.
- CPR-BLS level certification is required within one year of employment and maintained biannually.
- Experience working directly with people from various socioeconomic backgrounds.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Two years of recent experience in ambulatory care/clinic setting.
- Experience working in a college health or adolescent setting, or with a diverse patient population.
- Proficiency in language(s) in addition to English.
