Hours:
40 hours per week Days variable 8 – 5 but may vary (5 x 8’s preferred would consider 4 x 10’s)

Essential Job Functions:
(Under the direction of the physician or RN nurse manager)
- Performs professional nursing care in accordance with NYS Nursing Practice Act
- Carries out all assigned nursing procedures while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor during emergent situations
- Provides patient education, as requested by the provider
- Prepares patient record for visit, including but not limited to chart prep and nurse note documentation
- Participates in scheduled team meetings to discuss clinical roles, processes, and patient concerns
- Works well with members of the team to achieve patient-centered care and quality by implementing best practice standards
Requirements:
Education
- Graduated from accredited RN program. Current NYS licensure as a registered nurse. Basic knowledge of Cardiology diseases and treatment (preferred). Knowledge of medical insurance carriers and how to obtain prior authorization (preferred). Knowledge and ability to perform manual blood pressure checks (preferred)
License/Certification
- Registered Nurse. BLS License: NYS Tech
Experience - EKG Experience; prefer minimum of 2 years. Two Years Plus Specialties Technologies Epic.
