** Position Overview*
* We are seeking  
** Laboratory Technicians
** to support chemistry and microbiology research and development activities. This role will work closely with project leaders and laboratory teams to conduct experiments, prepare and test samples, perform chemical and/or microbiological analyses, and document and communicate results.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working in a laboratory environment, able to follow established procedures, and interested in contributing to a collaborative research team. Strong candidates will have opportunities to transition from temporary to permanent employment.

** Key Responsibilities*
* + Work closely with project leaders and laboratory team members to execute research and development activities.

+ Conduct a variety of chemical and/or microbiological experiments and analyses.

+ Prepare, label, handle, and test laboratory samples according to established procedures.

+ Perform routine laboratory testing and analytical procedures.

+ Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), laboratory protocols, and safety requirements.

+ Maintain accurate and organized laboratory notebooks and experimental records.

+ Analyze, document, and summarize experimental results.

+ Prepare written reports, data summaries, and presentations of findings.

+ Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment.

+ Support laboratory operations and other research activities as needed.

** Required Qualifications*
* + Associate degree in Chemistry or another relevant scientific field.

+ Previous experience working in a chemical laboratory environment.

+ Knowledge of and commitment to standard chemical safety and laboratory hygiene practices.

+ Demonstrated ability to follow SOPs and perform routine laboratory processes and procedures.

+ Experience maintaining laboratory notebooks and accurately documenting experimental findings.

+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

+ Ability to work effectively in a supporting role as part of a collaborative laboratory team.

+ Willingness and ability to learn new laboratory techniques and procedures.

** Preferred Qualifications*
* + Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Polymer Science, or another relevant scientific discipline.

+ Previous experience as a laboratory technician in a chemistry and/or microbiology laboratory.

+ Experience performing routine chemical analysis and laboratory testing.

+ Hands-on experience with one or more of the following:

+ Titrations

+ HPLC

+ GPC

+ UV-Vis spectroscopy

+ NMR

+ TGA

+ Experience analyzing and interpreting laboratory data.

+ Demonstrated ability to communicate experimental findings clearly through written reports and verbal presentations.
