Cornell Dining is looking for customer-focused, high-energy, inspired, and ready-to-learn individuals who have a passion for food! Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Wage per hour is $17.00!
These positions will have a January 15, 2026, start date.
In this position, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable work experience and learn how to:
* Prepare and present food items for a diverse customer audience.
* Maintain food standards and health codes.
* Provide excellent customer service to guests.
* Operate point-of-sale retail systems.
* Wash, organize, and stock all key items.
* Ensure unit cleanliness and maintenance standards are upheld.
All positions are part-time casual (19 hours per week or less), non-benefits eligible. Hours and schedules are flexible and may include nights and weekends. Available full-time positions can be found nell.edu/jobs
Required Qualifications
* Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills essential.
* Basic reading and English speaking skills.
* Demonstrated experience in being a team player, ability to juggle multiple priorities, and working in a fast-paced environment.
* Ability to stand for long periods and perform various motor skills such as lifting (30+ lbs.), reaching, bending, twisting, pushing, squatting, and grasping as needed.
