Summary of the Position:
Hourly, part-time positions serving youth and families throughout Tompkins County are available.

* Applicant must be dependable, committed, and able to serve as a positive role model for youth in community, school, and home settings.

* The Primary responsibilities of the Advocate are to initiate, organize, plan, develop and implement direct advocacy services to assigned participants and their families.

* All service plans will be based on a strength-based approach using the wrap around model.

This position offers flexible hours, competitive weekly pay, mileage, and activity reimbursement.

Hourly Rate: $20.00 per hour

Qualifications/Requirements:

* High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

* Experience working with at-risk youth and in a community based program

* Experience in community work and knowledge of community resources.

* Strong organizational and communication skills

* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience using an electronic health record system is a plus.

* Bilingual (Spanish speaking) is preferred.

* Position requires reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance coverage.

* Flexible Hours may include some evenings and weekends
