Speech Pathologist

Qualifications:
- Valid New York SLP License and active TSSLD Certification are required
- ASHA CCC-SLP certification strongly preferred;
Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates considered - Previous experience in school-based, pediatric, or teletherapy SLP roles is highly valued
- Confidence managing varied caseloads, including students with complex needs and diagnoses
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with educators, families, and support staff
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide direct speech/language therapy to students across K-12
- Develop individualized plans of care and IEP goals to address speech-language needs
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress monitoring
- Consult with teachers and support staff to integrate therapy strategies into classroom routines
- Communicate regularly with families and participate in IEP meetings
- Utilize technology and teletherapy as appropriate to enhance student engagement and outcomes
This position follows the school calendar, offering 32.5 hours per week starting September 2, 2025 and ending June 25, 2026.
