Factory Controller - TRCMC

Position Overview

Prime Headquarters:
Hitachi Rail, İzmit, Turkey. Full‑time on‑site factory controller position at Hitachi Energy Core Cutting Center in Dilovası, Kocaeli.

Kocaeli, Kocaeli, Turkey.

• Act as a business partner to the factory manager.
• Lead local controlling teams to optimize financial performance within the factory or site.
• Support effective business decisions by monitoring, analysing, and interpreting financial data to evaluate business alternatives and recommend solutions.
• Contribute to the definition of the strategy for the marketing and sales of the transformer business.
• Determine strategy for the area of responsibility, align with wider strategy, implement and adjust as needed.
• Work on detailed pricing of products with assumptions, scenarios, alignment with customers and tracking vs. actual.
• Translate strategy into business plans, establish measurable targets such as budgets and monthly estimates.
• Oversee business planning and forecasting for the area of responsibility and serve as the interface to HQ/Global/Local Business Manager/Product Line/Hub/Business unit.
• Evaluate financial implications of strategic decisions, build scenarios, and recommend actions.
• Participate in business reviews, monitor progress, and provide insights to support operational decisions.
• Establish processes and tools to obtain transparent and reliable financial data and business information.
• Support digitalization and automation of processes, reports, etc.
• Hold end‑to‑end responsibility for factory controlling.
• Manage monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing and reporting in line with the timelines.

• Bachelor’s degree in management, economics, engineering or related field.
• Minimum 7 to 12 years of professional experience, with a manufacturing environment requirement.
• Hands‑on experience in SAP FI, CO, MM, PP and PS modules.
• Proven communication skills.
• Proficiency in Office 365 tools.
• Fluency in local language and English (both spoken and written).
