Job Overview

As a Field Merchandiser, you will work independently to showcase organization and time‑management skills, establish retailer relationships, and represent Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support seasonal resets and installations as needed.

• Your starting hourly pay rate will be $14.00 to $16.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience.
• Paid training provided through live, hands‑on instruction and virtual classroom sessions.
• Part‑time employees eligible for voluntary benefits including medical, dental, vision, critical illness, accident insurance, and hospital indemnity coverage.
• Eligible employees receive annual pay increases.
• Position is part‑time with a variable schedule throughout the work week.
• Average weekly hours: 7–11 hours.
• Availability required at least one week before and after major holidays, including weekends.
• Availability to support season changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.

• Day‑to‑day engagement: using a mobile device to restock, organize, and monitor inventory of Hallmark products; use technology for communication with supervisor, reporting hours, providing feedback, and answering surveys.
• Holiday support: additional work days and extended hours during major holidays (Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas). May be required to work on the actual holiday and weekends.
• Department resets: assist in installations, relocation of card departments, and resetting card sections; assignments typically announced two weeks in advance and may include evenings or weekends.
• Team collaboration: support other merchandisers in the network as needed.

The role is physically demanding and requires the ability to push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally. You must kneel, squat, walk, stand throughout the workday, and at times climb stairs and step ladders.

• Minimum age 18 years.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Physical ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
• Capability to operate a digital handheld device.
• Access to Wi‑Fi network and internet.
• Consistent transportation to travel between assigned stores.
