New Beginnings Academy Principal Vacancy for SY 25-26

Minimum Qualifications:

* 3 years as an Assistant Principal, preferably at the secondary level

* Minimum of 3 years teaching experience

* Master's Degree and L-5 Certificate

The position is a 230-day administrative position

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

Collaborate with school principals, district administrators, and staff to facilitate smooth transitions to and from the Alternative School Program.

Oversee student discipline procedures and monitor academic progress.

Supervise and evaluate faculty and staff to promote high performance and professional growth.

Plan and implement the effective use of district resources.

Lead strategic planning initiatives aligned with district goals.

Support efforts to improve the BCSS graduation rate.

Coordinate the student discipline program to ensure consistency and compliance.

Manage state and federal testing requirements for assigned students.

Ensure a safe, structured, and effective learning environment for middle and high school students.

Ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and safety of facilities and plant operations associated with the program.

Perform additional duties as assigned by the Superintendent.
