School-Based Registered Nurse (RN

Make a lasting impact as a dedicated nursing professional working 1:1 with a medically fragile, non-verbal student entering 9th grade. This rewarding contract opportunity supports a vibrant school community where your advanced clinical skills and compassion are truly needed. In this role, you will provide personalized care for a student with complex medical needs, including g/j tube management, attentive daily oversight, and safe bus transportation.

The position is full-time onsite, with hours varying due to the student’s immunocompromised status and occasional absences.

• Active GA RN license required
• Experience in school nursing or pediatrics strongly preferred
• Skilled in g/j tube feeding and care
• Ability to work closely and compassionately with non-verbal students
• Comfortable providing care in a self-contained classroom setting
• Willingness to ride the bus with the student, ensuring safety to and from school
• Strong communication, teamwork, and adaptability

• Deliver daily, hands-on nursing care for an immunocompromised student
• Perform feeding and medication administration as needed
• Monitor, assess, and document clinical status and intervene promptly if needed
• Collaborate closely with teachers, therapists, and the student’s care team
• Maintain a safe, supportive environment in the classroom and during transport
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development as required
