Architect, Architect ​/ Sr. Architect

This is a contract role through Magnit for Consumers Energy in Jackson, MI. This position will be working onsite.

Architect will provide services during the major phases including conceptual, design and construction phase of Owner facilities projects located throughout the State of Michigan.

• Meeting with business partners to develop conceptual drawings and scope documents.
• Processing and review of shop drawings and product data including maintaining a shop drawing and product sample log to record all shop drawings received from the Owner's contractors.
• Responding to architectural Requests For Information (RFIs).
• Conducting site visits to the various project sites to confirm that the construction, fabrications and assemblies are as per the shop drawings, design intent and the Owner's project requirements.
• Other duties/tasks related to design and construction of facilities projects.
• Architectural services related to major construction projects, as directed by the Owner.
• Owner shall provide Consultant's onsite office.

• Over 5 years' experience in facilities design, construction or engineering.
• Understanding of building codes, specifications, and other project documentation.
• Project management.
• Effective communications.
• Flexibility and ability to respond quickly.
• Able to multitask and work in a team.
• Able to work independently and with minimal instruction.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Revit, PowerPoint.
• All work shall be performed in a workmanlike manner and in accordance with all local, state, and federal codes.
• Licensed Architect (NCARB Certified), but not required.
• LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP BD+C).
• A Bachelor's degree in Architecture.

Hourly Pay Rate Range (dependent onlocation,experience,expectation)

Thepayrangethat Magnitreasonablyexpectstopayforthispositionis:$48- $60/hr
