Surgery - General Physician

Join a dedicated team at a leading facility known for adult neurosurgery and trauma care, including advanced spine procedures. Located in Jackson, Michigan, this hospital is committed to providing high-quality healthcare for its community.

• Provide comprehensive adult neurosurgery and trauma care.
• Manage cases including brain bleed management and trauma repair.
• Perform spine surgeries such as spinal fusions, laminectomies, diskectomies, and vertebroplasties/kyphoplasties.
• Conduct critical care procedures including external ventricular drain management and ICP/CPP monitoring.
• Participate in a 24-hour weekend/holiday call schedule, Friday 7:00 AM Monday 7:00 AM.
• Utilize the Epic EMR system for patient management.
• Work collaboratively with a team of 2 neurosurgeons and additional locum providers.

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neurosurgery (required).
• Michigan medical license (required).
• Fellowship training in Neurosurgery (preferred).
• BLS certification (required).
• Experience performing adult neurosurgery and trauma procedures (required).
• Familiarity with the Epic EMR system (required).
• Availability to cover 24-hour weekend/holiday shifts (required).
• Self-Query NPDB report, current within the month (required at the time of presentation).

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neurosurgery.
• Michigan medical license.
• BLS certification.
