This facility is seeking a Neurosurgery Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.
Schedule:
24-hour weekend and holiday call coverage, Friday 7:00 AM through Monday 7:00 AM
Practice Setting:
Hospital
Types of Cases:
Adult neurosurgery and trauma cases, including brain bleed management, trauma repair, spine surgery (spinal fusion, laminectomy, diskectomy, vertebroplasty/kyphoplasty), and critical care procedures
Credentialing Timeframe: 90-120 days
Electronic Medical Record (EMR): EPIC
Certifications
Required:
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neurosurgery and Basic Life Support
Lie censure
Required:
Michigan
- Provide neurosurgery care for adult patients, including trauma and spinal procedures as listed in the cases described
- Maintain 24-hour weekend and holiday call coverage as specified
- Coordinate credentialing timeframe (approximately 90-120 days)
- Utilize EPIC for electronic medical records
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neurosurgery
- Basic Life Support
- Licensure in Michigan
- Malpractice insurance arranged by AMN Healthcare for contractor providers
