Approximately 2 Hours Per Week Patient Population / Volume Adult and Geriatric Patients
100% Inpatient Approximately 8 Follow-Up Patients Per Day Approximately 6-8 New Consults Per Day Clinical Responsibilities Provide Inpatient Gastroenterology Coverage Evaluate and Manage New Gastroenterology Consults Provide Follow-Up Care for Hospitalized Gastroenterology Patients Perform Hospital-Based Gastroenterology Procedures Perform Colonoscopy Perform EGDAbility to Perform ERCP and Advanced GI Procedures Required at Submission Clinical Environment / Support Level II Trauma Center Inpatient Hospital-Based Practice No Leadership or Teaching Responsibilities Epic EMRRequirements
Board Certified in Gastroenterology
- Required Gastroenterology Fellowship Training
- Required Active Michigan Medical License at Time of Name Clearance
- RequiredACLS Through AHA
- RequiredBLS Through AHA
- Required Ability to Perform Outpatient and Hospital-Based GI Procedures, Including Colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, and Advanced GI Procedures
- Required Clean Background
- Required, No Exceptions No Malpractice or License Issues
- Required Epic Experience
- Preferred Credentialing Credentialing Timeframe:
Approximately 90-120 Days Temporary Privileges Not Available"
