The Regional Admissions Advisor – Jackson Campus serves as Baker College's primary local representative for Jackson County, the western Michigan corridor, and select areas of Northwestern Ohio and Northeastern Indiana.

As a key member of the Admissions and Recruitment team, this role supports system‑wide enrollment while focusing on the growth and long‑term vitality of the Jackson campus. The Advisor builds and maintains relationships with high schools, CTE centers, community colleges, adult education programs, employers, and community organizations, driving regional outreach, community engagement, and enrollment advising. Through relationship‑building, personalized guidance, and a strong local presence, the Advisor ensures a student‑centered experience, monitors regional trends, tracks recruitment metrics, and collaborates with Admissions colleagues to develop strategies that advance Baker College's mission and contribute to sustainable enrollment growth.

• Conduct outreach to high schools, CTE centers, community colleges, adult education programs, employers, and community organizations.
• Host campus events and provide tours to prospective students and families.
• Advise prospective students and families on admission processes and educational options.
• Support enrollment processes and maintain accurate enrollment data.
• Connect the college to local workforce and community needs.
• Monitor regional trends and track recruitment metrics.
• Collaborate with Admissions colleagues to develop and implement enrollment strategies.

• Bachelor's degree required;
  Master’s degree preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in higher education admissions, recruiting, community relations, or workforce engagement.
• Familiarity with Jackson County, Southwestern Michigan, and the surrounding tri‑state region preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required.
• Demonstrated commitment to a student‑first philosophy and ability to act as a positive role model and brand ambassador.
