Anatomy & Physiology Adjunct Instructor

Position Overview

Adjunct instructor positions are part-time. Teaching assignments will vary from semester to semester and are based on enrollment. Therefore, there may be semesters where no assignments are available.

• Teach courses in Anatomy & Physiology based on instructor's qualifications.
• Evaluate and grade students' class work, assignments, and papers.
• Prepare and deliver instructional materials (syllabi, homework assignments, handouts) in person and/or online.
• Initiate, facilitate, and moderate classroom discussions.
• Compile, administer, and grade examinations.
• Participate in required reporting processes (e.g., grades, participation).
• Assist students in connecting to college resources.

• Master's degree in Biology or related sub-discipline, or a Master’s degree in an unrelated field with 18 graduate credits in Biology.
• Doctoral degree:
  Medical Doctor (M.D.), Physician Assistant (P.A.), Nurse Practitioner (N.P.) or Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.).
