ECommerce Adjunct Instructor

Position Overview

Teach courses in eCommerce based on instructor's qualifications. Adjunct instructor positions are part-time. Teaching assignments will vary from semester to semester and are based on enrollment. Therefore, there may be semesters where no assignments are available.

• Evaluate and grade students' class work, assignments and papers.
• Prepare and deliver instructional materials (i.e. syllabi, homework assignments, and handouts) in person and/or online.
• Initiate, facilitate, and moderate classroom discussions.
• Compile, administer, and grade examinations.
• Participate in required reporting processes (i.e. grades, participation, etc.).
• Assist students in connecting to college resources.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in field.
• OR Bachelor’s degree or higher in unrelated field and 2 years related work experience (documentation required).
• OR Bachelor’s degree or higher in unrelated field and professional certification (Microsoft certification, etc.) and teaching excellence (regional, state or national award recognition e.g. Fullbright, NISOD, NBEA).
• OR Bachelor’s degree or higher in unrelated field and publishing/research (articles, books, research toward doctoral, dissertation, or contribution field) and 5 years of related work experience.
• Provide official transcripts for all degrees held.
