Computer Aided Drafting Adjunct Instructor

Description

Teach courses in various disciplines based on instructor's qualifications. Adjunct instructor positions are part-time. Teaching assignments will vary from semester to semester and are based on enrollment. There may be semesters where no assignments are available.

• Evaluate and grade students' class work, assignments, and papers.
• Prepare and deliver instructional materials (i.e., syllabi, homework assignments, and handouts) in person and/or online.
• Initiate, facilitate, and moderate classroom discussions.
• Compile, administer, and grade examinations.
• Participate in required reporting processes (grades, participation, etc.).
• Assist students in connecting to college resources.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in CAD technology, engineering, architecture, or a related technical field.
• OR an Associate degree or higher in any field + relevant certification in CAD (CSWA, CSWP, or similar).
• OR an Associate degree or higher in any field + 3 years of work experience using CAD software.
• OR 5 years of documented industrial experience working with CAD software.
• Unofficial transcripts for degrees held must be included with the application; CAD-related work experience must be clearly identified on application and resume or the application will be rejected as incomplete.
